Wolfram Pönisch came for a scientific visit on 15th and 16th of July to get to know the new institute. Wolfram has just started his own group in Milan at Human Technopole in April, focusing on the quantitative description of cell and tissue morphologies. He also presented his approach in a seminar talk in front of the whole MPZPM titled “The stochastic morphodynamics of cells and tissues”. During his visit we had a lot of great discussions, which lead to new ideas and directions for our projects.
